CELEBRATE YOUR BLESSINGS AND THE GIFT OF FAMILY!!!

We hope you had a VERY Merry Christmas!

The Christmas Season is almost over for 2017! Hallmark Channel was back again with their Christmas movies which are always so heartwarming. They remind us of love, family, goodness, kindness and good will towards others. However, the true meaning of Christmas is the celebration of the birth of our Lord Jesus Christ. So as you gathered with family and friends, we hope you took some time to give thanks for this wonderful gift and celebrated the reason for the Christmas season.

It’s hard to believe that we are about to end another year. It’s seems like yesterday that we started 2017. If your year has been anything like ours, there has been very little time to rest. Call it crazy busy or call it blessed, either way, we simply can’t complain. We can’t complain because we would seem ungrateful for having everything we need and most of what we want.

This Christmas season as in the upcoming New Year, let us have a joyful heart in all we say and do so as to glorify the one who created us. Let us take time to be with our loved ones, creating memories, letting each other know that we love them. Let us lift and encourage each other up and help each other without expecting something in return. It is so easy to be consumed in our own situations that we that we tend to forget that there are others who are much worse off than we are. We may not think that we called upon to help someone in need, and yet, if we stop to think about it for a moment, the need may be as simple as listening to someone who may be hurting and needs words of encouragement. We were all born with unique talents and God wants us to use those talents.

Love That Cotton is a combination of family and friends. Cristina is truly the heart of the business. She works on the website, answers e-mails and requests, sets up new accounts, sends out invoices. She does the advertisements/promotions, takes pictures of new items and makes sure she posts them to you as soon as possible once a shipment arrives, helps pull orders…………all this while taking care of 3 ½ kids, running a household, being a wife and mother to her children and also running her monogram business. Rex (dad) does the labels for the shipments, prints and pulls orders, makes sure we have enough boxes for our orders, pays the bills, assembles new shelving for our growing stock and makes the daily trips to the post office and UPS. There are many nights we end up driving to downtown Dallas to ensure our customers receive their orders as quickly as possible. Mayra (mom) prints and pulls orders, scans and packages the orders, helps restock, assists Cristina in the decision making process when adding a new item to our line, works on inventory, assists in babysitting thus allowing Cristina to answer calls or get some very needed work done. She also pulls the merchandise for the shows we participate in yearly. Then there are our beloved customers whom we owe our tremendous growth and success. We strive every day to provide you with the best service we can offer. So as you can see, there are many pieces to this puzzle but when we put our strengths, talents and support behind each other, we become a team and it all works.

To our extended team, our new and longtime loyal customers, we wish you success and the best in the New Year! We wish you wisdom to help you make the best possible choices. We wish you continued blessings and happiness in all you do. Enjoy your family and take every opportunity you have to let them know you LOVE them. Share you gifts and talents……….you will be rewarded tenfold. We pray that you and your family will be rooted in faith and joy in the New Year…….the rest will fall in place. HAPPY NEW YEAR from Cristina, Rex and Mayra at Love That Cotton to you, our customers.
